Scott Powell

Scott Powell has over 25 years of leadership, strategy, operations, sales, and consulting experience. He has lived, worked and studied in multiple countries and has experience in numerous industries including Telecommunications, High Tech, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, and Aerospace Defense. Scott has also worked on projects across most corporate functions including: Strategy and Planning, Operations, Sales, Channels/Alliances, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Legal. 

Scott has been engaged with High Tech Telco Suppliers on GTM Strategy and change management initiatives, including helping a client launch a new software licensing and pricing program that changed the product portfolio offerings and sales methodology. Scott combines his skills in strategy, core project management and process design with years of direct/indirect sales and operational experience in large software firms to drive proven results for the client.

Before to consulting, Scott led a Sales Strategy and Operations Team at Successfactors (an SAP Company), directed the AT&T Alliance and created the Deutsche Telekom Alliance at Siebel Systems. Additionally, he was a Consultant at Bain & Co. in both the Munich and San Francisco offices where he advised Tech clients on Sales Strategy, Operations Development, and implementation.

Scott holds an MBA from Harvard University, a Masters in International Telecommunications from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and BA in History and Political Science from Colorado College. He served as a US Army Helicopter Pilot, flying 37 combat missions in Operation Desert Storm and commanding an Attack Helicopter Company. Scott is fluent in German and enjoys traveling with his family.
